President Buhari who departed Nigeria has arrived in Lome, the Republic of Togo on Sunday where he will be taking part in a Joint ECOWAS/ECCAS Summit today.
PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI ARRIVED LOME FOR ECOWAS-ECCAS SUMMIT:
The Nigerian leader was, however, received by President of Togo Gnassingbe Frasure and President of Liberia George Weah upon arrival.
The summit is aimed at deliberate on common security issues to the West Africa countries and the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) members.
The summit is also intended to forge further concerted strategies, in curbing the menace of terrorism, trans-border crimes and other forms of violent extremism.
