The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Federal Government of plotting a fraudulent court order to declare vacantly, the seat of the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, following his defection from the APC to the PDP.
FG, APC Plots To Remove Saraki, Ekweremadu:
“The PDP in a statement as released by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, said that credible information at its disposal shows that some forces in the President Buhari’s administration and APC had perfected plans, to initiate a lawsuit to challenge the validity of Saraki’s seat with the sole aim of securing a fraudulent injunction to force him out of office pending the determination of the substantive suit.”
“However, intelligence available to us shows that once they can secure the injunction from a particular compromised judicial officer, they intend to arraign and detain the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, on trumped-up charges and ensures he is not granted bail, to keep him out of circulation while chess move is played into effect, to replace leadership changes in the Senate.”
The PDP, however, has cautioned, that the APC and cohort in this evil attempt should note that the APC is now running on a collision course and Nigerian populace as its citizens, will not sit back, fold their hands and watch them destroy the country and our hard-earned democracy and foist fascism on our beloved nation. As FG, APC plots to remove Saraki, Ekweremadu.
