Nicki Minaj finally drops off her long envisaged album, as she appeared on Apple Music’s Beats 1 earlier on Friday, to roll out her fourth studio album track-by-track.
Nicki Minaj, Finally Drops Off Her Long Envisaged Album “QUEEN”:
Nicki Minaj, who was over the moon, express her joy as she drops her fourth studio work.
Nicki’s Statement Reads:
“I’m not only exhausted and delusional, but I get to be live with you guys and go over my album,” she joked on-air, saying she pulled an all-nighter to prep for her album release.
However, the last four months have been a test of patience and loyalty, especially for Nicki Minaj fans. In April, the rapper debuted two new singles,
“Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li,” the latter of which marked the lead single off her fourth studio album, Queen. Minaj initially announced a June 15 release for the record, but later pushed it to August 10, and eventually to August 17, citing a clearance issue with a Tracy Chapman sample.
Her team, however, cleared the sample, because Minaj announced last night on her new Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, “Queen Radio,” that the album would drop today.
Nicki Minaj “QUEEN” is indeed one top-notch album that has left fans talking; I guess that is why She’s called the Queen of Rap.
The tracklist includes previous singles “Chun-Li,” “Bed” and “Rich Sex” and a stacked guest list of features from artists including Ariana Grande, Future, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Foxy Brown, The Weeknd and Swae Lee.
