President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday, August 3, 2018, travel to London on a vacation which will last for ten working days.
President Buhari Starts Vacation On Friday:
Special Adviser to President Buhari, on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement to journalists today, adding that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo will act in the capacity of the President while he’s away.
The Statement Reads:
President Muhammadu Buhari begins a ten-working-day holiday from August 3, 2018.
Given Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution, a letter has been transmitted to the Senate President, and the Speaker, House of Representatives, to that effect.
However, while the President is on vacation in the UK, the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo will be in an acting capacity as President of Nigeria.
