19 People Confirmed Dead In South Sudan Plane Crash

Not fewer than Nineteen people have been confirmed dead in Juba, South Sudan, following a plane crash on Sunday 9th Sept. 2018

According to Abel Aguek, a Regional Information Minister, who spoke with the media, said the plane was carrying 23 people onboard and crashed in the central town of Yirol as it about to land.

ABEL AGUEK STATEMENT READS:

” The number of people confirmed dead at this time are19 people, and four people survived, and two Italian Children were amongst the four survivors,” said Abel,

Abel, further confirmed the Anglican Bishop of Yirol, Simon Adut, was among those who died on the crash.

“The pilot and co-pilot, a Ugandan Doctor, who runs a private clinic in Yirol, a staff with the International Committee of the Red Cross, a government official, and two army officers were also confirmed dead.

ABEL AGUEK FURTHER STATED:

” The entire town is in shock; the shops are closed, some people have taken their relatives for burial. It is a commercial plane that crashed,” as he speaks with pressmen

” The Crash occurred, when the plane was landing the weather was foggy, and this was not a good situation for plane landing.”
