Given Mama Taraba’s disapproval by the All Progressive Congress to screen her for the Taraba Governorship Elections under the APC, the former minister
for women affairs, Aisha Jummai Alhassan, who has resigned from the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Cabinet has left the APC for (UDP)United Democratic Party.
Mama Taraba, however, took this to Twitter to announced her resignation and her new political party, in which she will be contesting for as Governor of Taraba state, in the 2019 general elections.
Adams Oshiomhole National Chairman, of the All Progressive Congress, has recently released in a statement that Mama Taraba was not cleared to run for the primary governorship ticket of the party, which takes place tomorrow, given these disappointments by the APC, Mama Taraba decided to move on and join the UDP.
