SDP Set To Win Osun Governorship Elections

The governorship candidate of the (SDP) Social Democratic Party, Mr. Iyiola Omisore, has asked residents of Osun State to vote for him, as Governor of

Osun State, come September 22nd, 2018.

Mr. Omisore however, made the declaration on Thursday while the SDP organized a mega rally in Osogbo, Osun State capital.

Mr. Omisore, who spoke with residents of the state asked them to vote for the party SDP, and ensure that their votes are not bought or rigged during the electoral process.

“We are going to monitor our votes by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“We are going to ensure that our votes are not bought or rigged so at the end, I Omisore will be declared the governor of the state,” he said.

He blamed the enormous debt and non-payment of salaries and pensioners’ arrears on mismanagement of funds,

assuring that the SDP government would resolve all the crisis the ruling APC had caused in the state.

SDP Set To Win Osun Governorship Elections:

“It is less than N7 billion to pay outstanding salaries and pensioners arrears, but information reaching us confirmed that the government

had spent N4.3 billion on campaign billboards and printing of posters.”

“If the money had been well spent, the state would not be at the level it is today, the mistake of 2014 should be avoided by voting for SDP on September 22”.

Nevertheless, 48 candidates from different political parties will contest for the governorship election in the state.

Omisore is to face candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola; Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate, Adeoti Olalekan, among others.
