Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of 2019 general elections, moments ago has issued in a statement what could be seen as a pledge to the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) if elected into office.
It will be recalled that earlier in the day, the NLC has issued a warning to the Federal Government of Nigeria, that there will be a total shut down of the nation’s economy on the 6th of November if the N30,000 minimum wage is not implemented.
However, the NLC has Further warned Nigerians to stock their homes with food items, as there will be a complete blackout on the nation’s economy if the Government Fails to act in another ten days.
Atiku Response To NLC Threat:
Atiku Abubakar has reacted to this, in a tweet assuring the NLC that he will prioritise the living wages of Nigerians if the elected into office.
Atiku, went further to say that he has demonstrated commitment in his private enterprise; however, he will love to extend that commitment to the general public sectors of Nigeria.
