Christiano Ronaldo Speaks On Rape Allegation

Juventus striker Christiano Ronaldo has finally broken silence following a rape allegation leveled against him.

The soccer superstar took to Twitter on Wednesday to debunk every allegation.


” I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me,” he tweeted. “Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in. Keen as I may be to clear my name, I refuse to feed the media spectacle created by people seeking to promote themselves at my expense.”
“claimed that his “clear conscience would thereby allow me to wait with the results of any investigations.”

According to the allegations, 34-year-old Kathryn Mayorga has allegedly stated that Ronaldo raped her in June 2009 at a Palms Place hotel room in Las Vegas while She was then 24-Years-Old.

Kathryn, who claimed she vocally said, “no,” to Christiano Ronaldo’s advances, but he ignored her pleas. Afterward, she told the media Ronaldo fell to his knees and apologized.

Mayorga’s lawyer, Leslie Mark Stovall, has further supported claims that they later settled the case outside of court, with Mayorga agreeing never to speak of the incident again, while she was compensated with the sum of $375,000.

After ten years of compensation, Mayorga and Stovall are seeking to invalidate the non-disclosure agreement signed in 2009 over the alleged rape case.
However, Christiano Ronaldo has come out boldly to deny the allegations.

In response to the scandal, Christian Schertz, Ronaldo’s lawyer, revealed he and his client are going to seek compensation for “moral damages.”
