Given the looming nationwide strike by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) proposed from 6th November, the National Union of Air Transport Employees (N.U.A.T.E), has notified the NLC and the general public that they will be a complete shut down of operations in all Nigerian Airports.
This was however made known in a press release signed by the National president of N.U.A.T.E, Comrade Ben Nnabue.
According to Nnabue, who spoke with media have stated that a failure on the Federal Government of Nigeria to compile with the NLC demand on the new minimum wage of N30,000 will affect not just local flight operations but all flights coming in and out of Nigeria.

Aviation employees, however, have directed to seat at home if the minimum wage is not met by midnight 00:00 Hours of 6th November.
