President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday Tuesday, January 15 2019, has officially unveiled the new enhanced security International Passport for Nigerians.
The New International Passport, however, is said to be valid for ten years.
The president conducted the ceremony during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It will be recalled that, on 26th of 2018, President Buhari, approved the extension of validity of the Nigeria’s e-Passport to 10 years.
Both President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo were, however, issued their passports valid ten years by the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Mohammad Babandede.

This was ,however, made public by the Bashir Ahmaad, Special Assistant, to the President on media and publicity, who took this to twitter to reveal the development.
