A couple of months back, Disney announced that a Live-Action remake of Aladdin starring Will Smith was in the works. This came as an exciting news to all Disney cum Aladdin fans across the globe.
The anticipation was further heightened in December 2018, when we got a first look at Will Smith as the Genie as well as other characters on Entertainment Weekly‘s cover.
Now, the first official trailer has been released for the live action film.
The film stars Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia; Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim.
The film is scheduled to be released in 3D, Dolby Cinema and IMAX by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on May 24, 2019.
