Sallah Ommited From Egypt’s Squad to Face Nigeria

 Egypt’s head coach Javier Aguirre has omitted Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah from his 25-man squad for March 26 international friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Asaba .

The Pharaohs will face the Mena of Niger in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture on March 23, before heading to Nigeria for the friendly against the Super Eagles billed to hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

West Bromwich Albion defender Ahmed Hegazi was also left out by Aguirre, as well as Al Ahly quartet of Mohamed El-Shennawy, Hussein El-Shahat, Ramadan Sobhi and Marwan Mohsen.

Mohamed Awad, a goalkeeper who plays for Egypt Premier League club Al Wehda failed to make Aguirre’s squad list due to injury.

Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny and Olympiacos of Greece star forward Ahmed Hassan Kouka are the biggest names in the Aguirre’s squad.
