United did not lose any game in the month of January against Brighton, Newcastle and Tottenham hotspur under solskjaer while Rashford who is winning the award for the first time scored 5 goals in 4 appearances in the month of January.
This award makes Ole Gunner Solskjaer the first manager to win it for Manchester united since Sir Alex Ferguson in 2012.
