You heard of the release date for Beyonce’s Netflix documentary film ‘Homecoming’, right? What you did not know’s that the star was also saving a project for the same date. Well, you’re not alone.
The Queen Bey has dropped a new body of work to accompany the Netflix documentary film ‘Homecoming‘ and we didn’t see this coming.
The surprise album which shares the same title as the film ‘Homecoming‘ was released in the early hours of Wednesday, April 17th and is now available on all streaming platforms including Apple Music, Google Play and Spotify.
Homecoming: The Live Album is a 40-track album which features all of the audio from Bey‘s “Beychella” headline set, including appearances from Jay-Z and Solange.
It also features the Destiny’s Child reunion, as well as a recording of Blue Ivy singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Bey is dropping a surprise album. The trend started for her in 2013 when she dropped the “Beyonce” album without warning .
She also did the same thing with the “Lemonade” and “Everything is Love.” albums in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
