The Duke of Sussex, has asked to be addressed as just “Harry”.
Prince Harry who’s now on his final round of engagements as a senior working royal made a stop at a conference in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh earlier, where he launched a new eco-friendly travel firm.
He asked delegates at the conference to drop the ‘Prince’ title and just call him “Harry”.
Introducing Harry on stage, former Labour Adviser, Ayesha Hazarika, made the announcement.
“’He’s made it clear that we are all just to call him Harry. So ladies and gentlemen, please give a big, warm, Scottish welcome to Harry.“
The Duke and Duchess, Harry and Meghan will be stepping down as senior royals in less than five weeks.
Harry is still permitted to use his royal titles ‘Sir’ or ‘His Royal Highness for a few more weeks, but will give them up when he officially steps back from the family on March 31.
Recall that the couple also recently agreed to drop their “Sussex Royal” brand.
Alongside the event in Edinburgh, Harry would be attending an annual charity performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London , as well as the Endeavour Fund Awards, which recognizes wounded military personnel.
He will also be in the Abbey Road Studios in London on Friday to record a new song for his ‘Invictus Games’ with rock star Jon Bon Jovi before being joined by his wife Meghan and their son Archie early next week for five subsequent official appearances.
