Award winning singer, Alicia Keys is offering some calmness as the world battles the deadly Coronavirus.
The singer pays tribute to all essential workers giving their best everyday with her new song titled GOOD JOB
The song was originally written by Keys and The-Dream months ago, to honor the unsung heroes in the singer’s life.
However, in light of recent happenings, the lyrics were revised to serve as tribute to frontline workers all over the world; including healthcare professionals , parents and teachers for their relentless efforts in this trying time.
Announcing the song on her Twitter page, she wrote: “I wrote this for all the people that work so hard and never get to hear the words Good Job…”
I wrote this for all the people that work so hard & never hear the words Good Job. I believe in us though, I believe in the way we are showing up for each other & caring 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽— Alicia Keys (@aliciakeys) April 24, 2020

Keys debuted the song at CNN’s special coronavirus town hall held on Thursday, April 23.
In an interview with the news network, Alicia said:
“A lot of times people don’t feel like they’re doing a good job. They feel underwater and like there’s never going to be a brighter day,” she said.
“Fast forward to now, with where we are now, and it’s almost like the song was written for this and I didn’t know it.”
Meanwhile, the 15-time Grammy winner is set to release her seventh studio album ALICIA on May 15.
